La Ferme du Golf

This place is about as perfect as it gets and totally underrated. We stayed for three nights at La Ferme and then three nights at the Four Seasons. Guess which hotel we preferred ? Staff is as friendly as they get, have a sense of humor and are very attentive in the salon and dining room. Breakfast is simple but very healthy and fulfilling with boil your own eggs (5 1/2 minutes is better than the suggested 4 minutes!). The hotel is directly across the street from the main ski lifts, gondola and cable car to get you across the valley and is right next to two different ski rental shops. The location is perfect, and after a long and hard day of skiing, to be able to walk 55 seconds to the ski room and then plop down in front of the fireplace in the Salon is as good as it gets. 10++ All the way around.

My family and I missed the last lift from the slopes, went to the hotel to ask for help as we had 3 freezing cold children , asked them for help getting a taxi called to get us back to our accommodation and the receptionist was less than helpful and not supportive in the slightest. Very disturbing attitude.

Perfection! What a place! We had a wonderful vacation, the rooms with the views are stunning, the outside sitting area is just perfect, Tranquil atmosphere to have a glass of wine infront of the mountains. Staff is so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is delicious dinners are great and testy. The path going down to Megeve village is a beautiful walk/bike just outside the hotel. We love this place!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here at this lovely cozy place. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Our room was newly renovated, we loved every little details like the water kettle, bathroom defusers and interiors. Also, the terrace and mountain views were breathtaking! Perfect! From someone who spends a living traveling, moving from hotel to hotel each day, this is up there with one of the best I’ve experienced! We were lucky enough to spend 3 nights here. The location is great, amazing views, fairly quiet away from busy towns and roads. The hotel is clean and comfortable with plenty of options to sit outside and relax. The food is brilliant with a range of options even for the more tricky customers like myself that need a vegetarian option, local beers and wines are available too. The most impressive thing about the hotel is the staff, super helpful and friendly! Will go out their way to help you or simply offer you a drink without having to get up and ask. I don’t see many places where the staff actually look like they want to be there! Can’t recommend enough!
